EPISODE 63
How Can You Rise Above Betrayal?
How can we embody the signal of love in our own lives, even during the most challenging moments?
This episode is a deep and empowering one, mamas! I am beyond thrilled to share with you an absolutely captivating conversation I had with my friend, the incredible Claudia Noriega Bernstein. Buckle up, because this one's a ride you won't want to miss!
Claudia wears many crowns—she's a mother, a wife, an author, an abundance coach, and a beacon of love and empowerment. But her journey to this point? Let me tell you, it's nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Picture this: a former soap opera sensation in South America turned powerhouse producer and author, Claudia's story reads like a script from a Hollywood movie. But what truly sets her apart is her unwavering courage and resilience, especially in the face of adversity.
At the tender age of 28, Claudia found herself at a crossroads, with three young children under the age of five and a decision that would change the course of her life forever. She made the bold choice to leave her partner and set out on a quest to pursue her dreams—a decision fueled by an unwavering belief in her own strength and capabilities.
Through the toughest moments of her journey, Claudia discovered something truly profound: the power of love as a guiding force. She speaks candidly about co-parenting with her ex-partner, embodying love even in the most challenging of circumstances, and how she continues to impart this invaluable lesson to her children and beyond.
Claudia isn't just preaching love; she's living and breathing it every single day. Her authenticity, her heart, her humor—it's all there, shining brightly like a beacon of hope in a sometimes dark and chaotic world.
You get to choose who you are. And I wanted love, so that’s what I was. It’s easier to be in love instead of being in anger. - Claudia Noriega-Bernstein
I love that and I think it’s something we need to remind ourselves. We can get so focused on the negative in a situation (like divorce or any conflict) that love is the last thing on our mind. But what a beautiful moment and dynamic Claudia created in her life when she chose to be love.
Something else we talk about is discovering that you are capable of anything. After sharing the heartache and trauma she went through as a young mom, Claudia notes that going through those hard times showed her evidence that she is capable.
I mean, can we just pause on that for a minute? That’s such a juicy takeaway, it really resonated with me. I see so many women go through things like traumas, tough times, etc and they believe it disqualifies the from abundance, success, love and joy. And I truly believe that it qualifies you to be the best mother, best leader, best writer, the best YOU that you can be.
I think it gets back to choosing your perspective on the situation. Claudia shared such a profound question towards the end and I want to share it here. She challenged us with asking ourselves, “What’s one thing to consider that can help us see things through the frame of abundance?”
Her answer? Gratitude.
Remember what you do have in your life. It may be messy, but it is your life. You are breathing. You are living. You have to think what’s your why, then manifest it based on that why. Your intention is based on your how, who do you need to be to achieve that?
My goodness, this conversation was nourishment for my soul. We laughed, we cried, and we shared moments of pure joy and vulnerability. Claudia's ability to "tell it like it is" with grace and humor is truly a gift.
We didn’t even get to chat about the amazing retreats and other work Claudia does, maybe we’ll have her on for a second episode! But in the meantime, if you want to connect with her or learn more about how she helps women from diverse backgrounds unlock their creative potential for personal growth and self-healing - I’ll leave her deets below!
