About

Brooke Jean, M.A.

Ever since childhood, I knew I wanted to help people.  It wasn’t until I became a single mother in college, had ten years of corporate leadership experience and  survived some serious life hardships that I knew in what capacity.  I have always been passionate about helping people become the very best version of themselves, to achieve both their personal and professional goals, to inspire and empower women to break through barriers and create the lives they have always wanted and deserve.  That is why there are three types of services offered in my business.

As a counselor we can work to heal from past hurts and experiences, to reconnect to your true authentic self, to understand patterns that are no longer serving you and address any mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.  I most enjoy working with folks who are in a love, life, or career transition and have created a “come-back” process for clients.  I believe we all have an innate resiliency inside of us ready to bounce back.

I received my MA in Counseling at Regis University and am a Registered Psychotherapist in Colorado.  I am currently working toward licensure and am supervised by Kristy Eldredge, Ed.D., LPC, NCC, ACS who is an LPC (#4798).  I come from a psychodynamic theoretical orientation, meaning I believe that our upbringing and environment shaped who we are today.  I believe deep within each of us lies inner wisdom, informative intuition, and unique gifts that when leveraged can turn the impossible to possible. It is easy to get off track and lose our authenticity. I also leverage ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) which is a mindfulness based therapy that does wonders for anxiety, eating disorders, perfectionism and people-pleasing, a loud inner critic and much more.  Our work together can help you peel back the layers to help you find yourself again while removing barriers to help you thrive in ways you never even knew you could!

As a life and leadership coach, we will set clear goals on whatever it is you are trying to accomplish in your life.  Whether it be launching a business, getting a promotion at work, becoming an inspiring leader, or losing weight, I will become your supportive accountability partner who always sees your potential and pushes you towards it.  Our work may include connecting to values, learning to manifest and meditate, and putting yourself in situations that help you grow.  We will address the core four energy blocks getting in your way, once and for all.  This process will give you what you need to create a meaningful, purposeful, and passionate life.  My coaching style is to be honest, compassionate and fun.  You will be challenged!!!  If you are ready to get real, be honest with yourself, and take action to make things happen in your life, I am the perfect coach for YOU!

As a team trainer and consultant I support small to medium sized businesses in creating a healthy team culture to maximize results.  I have created trainings to help team reach their potential, communicate and work through conflict in a healthy way, and create a wellness culture.  I can also customize trainings for your team based on needs.  I consult with CEO’s and leaders on growth strategies, targeting the ideal client, performance management, and creating teams that people want to be on.

Being able to offer all of these services allows me to honor all parts of myself and all of my experiences to best serve the Denver community.  I just LOVE what I do, love the diversity of it, and get real jazzed about seeing folks make positive changes in their lives that last forever and are real game-changers!

Call me to begin your journey today!  Here are what some clients have said about working with me:

“Brooke employs a very holistic approach through mindfulness and one that really makes you think about the issues at hand.  She provides multiple coping mechanisms and various ways to approach situations which is very helpful.  My goals in my time with her have been to understand how situations and experiences in my past have shaped me and how to break tendencies that have not yet yielded fruitful and reciprocal relationships.  It has been through my time with her that she has helped me to break destructive cycles, become a better communicator, become more thoughtful to people around me, and to be vulnerable.  I am forever grateful for the time I have been in treatment and look forward to seeing her every week.” – Anonymous client

“The process of finding a new therapist can be isolating, especially during the times when you need to speak with someone the most. I had met with a few counselors and after many failed attempts with other professionals, I was recommended to Brooke.

Right away, I could tell something was different about her! Brooke is genuine and has been a tremendous help in guiding me through my anxiety and providing clarity. She offers new perspective and empathy, but most importantly, she discusses solutions. After working with Brooke, I feel empowered and I am very grateful to have connected with her!” – Anonymous client

Brooke has been an amazing guide in leading me to re-connect with my values and learn how to live a life more aligned with what means the most to me. She is helping me in the midst of a career change, to not only discover exactly what will bring me life, but also how to handle my fears in a healthy and effective way. She is extremely kind and knowledgeable, but also holds me accountable in my growth. I highly recommend her!” – Anonymous client

Brooke is truly an outstanding professional. She is warm and compassionate and incredibly perceptive. She has the ability to zero in on the core issues underlying whatever issue is being discussed.
I started working with Brooke to overcome some anxiety issues and in just a short time, I already feel like I’ve come a long way. She gives me the tools I need to overcome various obstacles and allow me to be more present and calm. She is also nonjudgmental and has a great sense of humor!” – Anonymous client
