Counseling is a process for self discovery, healing and growth in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.  Finding the right therapist for you and building trust is an essential part of this process which is why I offer a free 30 minute consultation before we embark upon your journey.  I understand how sacred your process is and am honored to be a part of it.

In life, we find ourselves in many different transitions, such as developmentally from adolescence into adulthood, ending relationships that no longer serve us, and discovering our purpose resulting in a career change and many more.  Being in transition  brings up so many emotions such as fear, insecurity, worry, overwhelm, grief, just to name a few.  This period of time also has the tendency to bring some of our past struggles forward and may even result in repressed feelings and memories emerging into consciousness.  We are particularly vulnerable during these transitions in our life, which is why it can he helpful to have a supportive counselor to guide you through and help you to the other side.

I believe that when we take the time to reconnect to our authentic selves, we can tap into our inner sources of strength to help us through these tough times.  My goal is to guide you to your own answers, helping you thrive in new and meaningful ways.  This process may include exploring who you are, who you have been and who you want to be. We’ll tend to the wounds of your past while creating your new beginning.  Leveraging a holistic approach, we will look at each component to create a well balanced life for you.  This will include emotional/mental health, physical health, relationships/ connection, work/ purpose/financial freedom, and leisure/pleasure.

Like most of us, there may be many factors getting in your way such as confusion, a lack of self-esteem, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship problems, as everything can be interconnected.  In the next few pages, there is a little more information on how we can tackle each struggle to eventually help you live a more authentic and meaningful life.
